I am new to this Forum & a new owner of a very slightly used (around 100 rounds) 20 gauge Citori manufactured in the mid - nineties. I bought it from a termanally ill good friend who did not like to shoot. He only hunted when he had to for business reasons.

I cleaned it, & then I took it to the trap range & fired 50 rounds. No problem with the first 25 rounds. For the 2d 25, however, it twice failed to eject a spent shell on the bottom barrel. Do any of you have input what may be the cause?

My suspicion is that the ejectors need a good lubricaion. Is there a way to try cleaning out old lube & introduce new lube to the ejectors without dissasembly of them?

    Thanks for any suggestions.

Check the chamber. It could be rough. Clean with a good bronze brush, and if needed, polish the interior chamber walls.
