Been shooting since I was aged 7 and my first gun was a Browning A5 made in 1960. The barrel and stock was shortened to fit me. However, the gun was really too heavy to carry as a young boy. Therefore, there was a need to use other guns but eventually I went back to the A5. I bought a 1970's plain action 12g Magnum. This gun has been modified using different ring and spring combinations to reliably eject 28g loads for clay shooting. Which was reliably used to shoot English Skeet, DTL, ABT and Compac Sporting and of course fur and feather. Due to UK legislation all my A5's are now A3's.
