I have the bps upland 20 gauge that tends to put it self back on safety when fired . Can anyone help me with a fix for this ? Thanks

My guess is recoil is moving the safety lever to the rear to the safe position upon firing. Could be as simple as a weak safety spring or a worn safety plunger or a combination of both.

Yes that's what's happening. Can I buy a new safety spring ? Or should I send it back to browning?

Sorry to Necropost but Browning will NOT sell any BPS safety parts. They said it was a Factory repair. As I still want to do mine right I will follow Setters link and call and see what they say.
